with Acoustic Thing he is the lead guitarist/vocalist with the bluesy rock

Connie Johnson
is the creative director at All About Music Children's theatre. She
mastered her trumpet, keyboard and flute skills while obtaining a degree in music
education. She plays
in the band 3rd Degree and is
also active directing children in community theatre.
Connie was featured on Channel 9's "Chicago's Very
Own" because of her ability to play more than thirteen different
instruments.
While performing together in
3rd Degree Todd & Connie discovered their similar
tastes in acoustic music. After several months of people asking if they
we're playing with 3rd Degree or doing the "acoustic thing" they settled on
the name Acoustic Thing for their duo.
Acoustic Thing now has a 5 song demo
available upon request and their original songs are available on the CD
"Songs for Joanna".
