Serving Mokena, Frankfort, New Lenox, Tinley Park, Orland, Homer Glen and the Lincoln-Way area since 1992.  Our goal is to provide the beginning and continuing student with a well rounded music education in whichever musical endeavor they pursue. We offer private lessons and group instruction for; piano, voice, guitar, bass guitar, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet singing and acting.  We also carry guitars,  everything the growing musician needs to maintain their instrument and a large selection of music. HELP WANTED, Classes are expanding!  Seeking piano teachers, voice teachers, music directors and dance and acting interns.  Must be enthusiastic, articulate, enjoy children and teens and have a background in performance or education.  Interested candidates should email AllAboutMusicMokena@yahoo.com, with a current resume or contact info.

Sing, Dance, Act, make crafts

For kids age 5 to 9  4 separate camps. Meets for one week from 10:00am to 12:00 pm

Themes include Annie, Pirates, Willy Wonka, Alice in Wonderland.

                                        

Beginning Guitar Group click for more info

For Beginners  age 9 and up

Students learn to read music & chords and play popular riffs.

Meets one week, 4 days for an hour and 15 minutes

 

SUMMER ROCK SCHOOL click for more info

 For students with prior knowledge of their instrument. Meets for 2 weeks in the evening.

 Performance on 7/28 for Bass, Keyboard, Guitar, Vocals, Drums and horns

MUSIC IN MOTION

 

ages 4 and 5 (pre K)  

Meets Wednesdays

1:00 - 2:00pm for 6 weeks

Sept. 21st - Oct 26th 

Tuition $79 (includes all materials)

For children who show an interest in music and are ready to attend a class on their own, great introduction to the wonders of music and drama.  Children sing, dance and make crafts, while learning beginning rhythm, music and movement skills.

INTRO TO MUSICAL THEATRE  Grades K - 2nd

 

Meets Tuesday 6:15 to 7:15

for 8 weeks Sept 27 -Nov. 29

no class Nov 9th or 23rd

Tuition $109 (includes all materials and AAMCT shirt)

Great for the child who likes to sing, act and dance!  Students will be introduced to musical concepts and theatrical terms as well as basic dance steps.  They will also work on solo and ensemble singing while learning a variety of songs.  

MUSICAL THEATRE I     Grades 3rd - 5th

 

Meets Wednesday from 6:30 - 7:30pm for 8 weeks,

Sept. 28-Nov. 30

Tuition $109 (includes all materials and AAMCT shirt)

 

The perfect class for the student with a love of music and acting!  They will learn more advanced music and theater terminology and how to sing harmonies as well as audition techniques, character development and improvisation skills.

INTRO TO ACTING

 

Grades 1st- 3rd   

Spring session only

 

In addition to learning beginning theatrical terms, children will play acting games to help develop expression, characterization and confidence on stage.  They will also work on short group scenes. 

ACTING I

 

4th - 6th grade 

Spring session only

 

Students will learn theatrical terms, improvisation, audition and characterization skills.  They will play acting games designed to develop projection and diction and then apply what they have learned to create a DVD of monologues
